Acer crystal-eye webcam problem!?

I have just bought a new acer laptop, its almost 2 weeks old and it comes with a built in webcam, and ive been using the webcam a lot and all of a sudden about 2 days ago I realised when I click on the icon to open the webcam and pictures it doesnt open, it loads for a minute and doesnt do anything! Ive clicked on it like 100 times and still nothing has happened! I even tried restarting my laptop several times. Can somebody please help me with this? Im hoping it isn't broken, because Ive done nothing for it to be broken, so if you have an answer or something I can do to fix this problem, PLEASE comment below, thanks !
