Is asbestos visable in vinyl flooring,or fiberglass?

Ripped up some vinyl that was installed around 1982. Didn't think about asbestos, but afterwards I looked at the back of a piece I ripped up and saw tiny little crystal like fibers in the sunlight, like micro fishing line. Looks like fiberglass. Does asbestos look like this? It has a grayish backing like construction paper. I have been worrying this could be asbestos but read asbestos isn't visable. This material sparkled in sunlight. Does anyone know if this is asbestos? I'm don't know if they make fiberglass vinyl flooring or when it was made.
