Is it possible to tame a wild chipmunk?

Also how would I? I don't want to keep it in a cage, I just wanted it to eat from my hand and let me pet it. There is a pair of them that come barn everyday and I set out some food for them. They sit right next to me when I clean the chicken coop and watch me.
