Is there any way for me to put a timer on my Acer Crystal Eye Webcam?

I would like to put a timer on my webcam, but I don't know how. I already tried SnapCam 2, and it didn't work well for me. Is there anything else out there that would work, but it also a safe program for my computer? Thank u
